Subject to applicable law, we will not refund any amounts if your dissatisfaction with the product is due to a mistake on your part or simply because you have changed your mind.
7. Hanging Your Tiles and Wall Surfaces. Our adhesive-backed tiles are designed to be applied to clean, dry, smooth, painted interior walls, following the instructions supplied with your order. How well the adhesive holds, and what happens to the surface when a tile is repositioned, removed or falls, depends on the condition of the wall, including the age, type and finish of the paint, how well the paint has bonded to the plaster or other surface beneath it, and any dust, grease, moisture, texture or recent painting (we recommend waiting at least four weeks after painting before applying tiles). Where paint or plaster lifts with the adhesive, this generally indicates the paint's bond to the wall was weaker than the adhesive's bond to the paint.

Because we have no control over the condition of the surfaces our tiles are applied to, to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not responsible for damage to paintwork, wallpaper, plaster or other wall surfaces caused by applying, repositioning or removing tiles, or by a tile coming away from the wall. Before hanging, we recommend testing one tile in an inconspicuous spot, and removing tiles slowly by peeling the adhesive back close to the wall.

If you believe a tile or its adhesive is faulty, please contact us with your order number, a photo of the back of the tile and a photo of the area it was mounted on, and we will assess it. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees.
